Aw, after the first couple of posts I thought the thread would actually stay civil. Who was I kidding. I just think it's interesting that a place can get to be 123 degrees. That is just insane. I think the hottest weather I've ever been in was maybe 105-110. There is quite a noticeable diff between 85 and 105. Can you imagine 20 more degrees stacked on 105....omfg. I've also looked at Antarctica and some parts of Alaska in the past where it showed it being like -30 to -50 degrees with the wind chill. Insane.

It wasn't so nice in OH today either. A temperature of 90° and a Gulf Coast-like 72° dew point (55% humidity) made for a 97° heat index earlier. There's also some more damned fucking rain on tap for six out of the next nine days here- with a break during the weekend though.

Of course I could have it a lot worse (123°? Shit!), but this is bad enough.

I'm used to winter weather being a bit nippy on the eyeballs when the wind gets moving, but during my short stay in CA during the summer months, I learned that heat could have effects just as unpleasant. Apparently, biking around in 115 degree weather has some drawbacks.

Ya, as if the allergies weren't enough, now it's gonna be 100 degrees + for awhile. Another awesome thing is snakes and all kinds of bugs like big ass spiders are coming out of the woodwork because of the heat. This time of year was awesome when you were a kid and summer vacation just started and you could veg out in the house all day playing videogames. Now I gotta work all the damn time and I absolutely hate this time of year.
