I don't consider myself a total idiot, but I hate that joke. I always for it.

    "Alt+F4? I wonder what that -- wait a minute...!"

Since this topic was doomed before it was posted,

That was the hardest game to watch. I couldn't justify either team winning yet one had to. I think I could have stomached an Eagles win because, and I think any sane person would agree, that the 3 in 4 the Pats won is nothing like the 3 in 4 the Cowboys won. But from the record books they're the same thing.

And that is unfortunate. As it is these same record books that show Barry Sanders as *not* the best rusher of all time. When, in fact, he damn well was.

    Also, this topic sucks.

  3. Best rusher? Yes. Best running back? No.

Ok, smart ass. Let's have it. Who is the best running back of all time?

Yeah, his name was Brown, Jim Brown. And second is Gale Sayers.

You kids need to watch some old school football more often.

  6. Gale Sayers > Jim Brown. Waay better.
    o_O

    Jim Brown:

    Year TM | G | Att Yards Y/A TD | Rec Yards Y/R TD
    TOTAL | 118 | 2359 12312 5.2 106 | 262 2499 9.5 20

    Gale Sayers:
    Year TM | G | Att Yards Y/A TD | Rec Yards Y/R TD
    TOTAL | 68 | 991 4956 5.0 39 | 112 1307 11.7 9

    STFU idiot,

Sayers would never have caught Brown in Y/A, TD's, or Yards, or for that matter, passing TD's. Also, let me remind you that A) Brown could have kept playing, and B)He has just a few more titles than Gale.

Start telling people Larry Johnson is the best ever, it's more worth your time than to argue this with me.

You are right, in terms of team, the Cowboys team was amazing and truly dominant. But in todays free agency environment, it is harder for the Pats to win 3 out of 4 than Cowboys days of old. It is just like comparing apples to oranges.....

The Patriots faced much weaker competition. Their roster wouldn't have won a playoff game in 1990-1995. It's really sad how watered-down the NFL has become.

Barry Sanders wasn't even close to Emmitt Smith as a complete back. He couldn't catch out of the backfield, wasn't anywhere near as strong in short yardage, and couldn't block. He also had a tendency to get caught behind the line, due to his style. He was fun to watch, but I'm glad my team never counted on him to gain yardage when it mattered.
