Thread: Draw Something, Dammit

  1. Most recent one... I was gonna do the sky varying lines of blue, like many 16-bit games did back in the day... then I wandered off for a while to play some Genesis, booted up Monster World IV, and the way that whole sky was done in that game struck me as awesome (as is the whole game), so I figured I'd spruce it up. Besides, no ruler, might as well, right?

I like the one top right, seems the most cohesive to me. Good design.

  5. Is that cat playing with an atomic dildo bomb?

I like the thin-thick line work. What are those patches on its limbs?

  6. Outline of the next thing I plan on drawing... Based off the best game Nintendo ever made.

The correct answer is Super Metroid, in case you were wondering...

haha yes. the cat is, it's for a project called "Nagasaki Pop," so lots of happy bombs and such. The patches on its limbs are kind of those weird embellishments that are on asian lucky cats like this:

but they kind of ended up looking like eyes, which is fine with me. thank you!

  8. That's what I thought they were.

Logo update: Client chose green wolf howling with slight typographic modification (I capitalized the F in Fenris and made Fenris green). Easiest and quickest money I've ever made via design. Got this project in on Thursday. Less than a week later I've been paid in full and the logo delivered. I don't see him not coming back for additional support down the line.

(this is still a work in progress BTW, I intend to finish the trees and put a sky in.)
Woah, awesome! That would look great on my wall at work. Seriously, if you ever get quality prints made, PM me.
