Thread: Judging Others and Authority

  1. He wrote AJ because he doesn't know how to spell her name and he didn't even want to try looking it up.

  2. What they do in their bedroom is their business. It does not diminish her efforts in helping starving kids in 3rd war countries. But I don't really know the extent of her efforts, I am just saying the 2 acts are independent (unless you are one of those, ahem, Christian).

You have no idea how old it gets being the "Butters" of TNL (south park reference). I could make a thread asking for members' mailing addresses so I could send them a free pound of gold and someone, SOMEONE would still be an ass.

And don't play it like "lol IP, that’s how TNL rolls; we do that to each other all the time." No, you are not treated like me. And no, you aren't treated better because you are "smarter." You are a bitter asshole. You do not deserve to be treated as nice as you are. And no, compass the retarded circus boy doesn't count. Him riding your balls like a fag does not equate to the carnival that fallows my balls around. Making threads here is like being fallowed around by a pack of drunk retarded midgets with serious ADD.

I await your shitty response. Are you going to go with some shit about a sandy vagina or serious business or just beat some other dead horse of a joke? Maybe you will go for some convenient crap about being emo for even caring enough to respond. I say convenient, because it is convenient for you to say another person should be apathetic to something you never deal with.

I don’t really care, but something had to be said. For you to act like me “crying” is all on me, and no one here plays a part in it, is just absurd. You guys want to be asses? Fine, but don’t pretend like I’m nutbars or a baby for not enjoying it all the time.

And its possible to respect "AJ"'s charity work while being repulsed by her deviancies.
People tend to want leaders that are as perfect as possible. That is the entire point of mud slinging inside politics. It doesn't really matter if a person can be a human turd but still make a good leader. Average joe bob doesn't care about how the two don't necessarily relate to each other. He/she will still take those "bad" things into account when they vote, regardless if those things have any weight on anything that person needs to do while in power.

But I will admit that may not be your own personal experience. I’m sure most of the people you deal with on a day to day basis is somewhat logical so you might go very long periods without dealing with the vast number of people that are some what illogical and emotional.

Porn isnt that chic yet. It would still upset quite a few people. And besides, porn was just an example. Technology has the ability to take away more privacy than ever before and the ability to let us be self indulgent in ways many would not agree with. I was curious if anyone thought that would ever become a problem.

weird, sinful, immoral, social deviant, etc. All those things are the same within the context of the question, as in, things that are a part of a person's character that will change many peoples opinion of them and make them not want that person in a leadership position, regardless of the fact that the things do not relate to leadership ability.

Anyway, for your first question, how did you ever equate being a "good" person with being a good leader? I'm sure most people don't consider Adolf Hitler a "good" person, but they'd be lying if they said he wasn't a good leader.
I don't. But many people do. And many people under Hitler's rule thought he was the Bee's kneas. He had a very high aproval rating.

it is very relevant. technology is making it a lot easier to get the hustelr like material, and easier for others to find out the "good" person has it.

yeah but they are not the same, particularly weird and sinful. weird simply means that an individual dosent operate within conventional social mores, sinful has a very specific meaning that varies between specific religous practices. one can be very very weird without being sinful per-se. Blending 2 very different concepts muddles responses. immoral and social deviant have the same problem, you are comparing two very different things. when it comes to leadership i tend to look to machiavelli for my take, a leader can get away with anything so long as they appeal to the right predjudices of the masses.

Not really. The word sin comes from Latin or Greek, or a similar language. It was an archery term for "off the mark." "Sins" are actions that fall outside of "conventional social mores" within those old societies. So within your own definition, "sins" are the same thing as being "weird" when used within the context of the group that word sin belongs to.

  7. Dude, he says something about you crying, and then you completely validate it by replying with 4 paragraphs of whining about it. That is some hardcore obliviousness.

  8. Send me a pound of gold.

  9. lol @ his response to my one sentence about him crying.

All of this stems from the fact that you live in an ass-backwards place. Come join us in civilization and you'll see what I mean.
