Im not talking about the one that hooks to your cable wire or whatever. Im talking about the one with the 2 prongs that you have to actually use 2 screws to hook it to the TV. Or is that the same thing?

Uh, that's fucked up. Last I remember using one of those was... Atari? They have adapters at Radio Shack you can use to hook that up to a standard TV through RF, but... definitely not standard equipment for the TG16.

Anyway, what I said still stands, any RF adapter you have should work.

  3. Ok cool. I wasn't sure if I needed an official TG16 hook up or anything. Thanks.

As usual great thread on my fav old school system. No other
system had such a diverse librarby. The fact that the
TurboGrafx not being a true 16 bit system really hurt sales.
If I recall it had 2 8bit Proccessors. The fact is some of
the last games were pushing graphics on par with a 32 bit
    system.

How so? The general public never really knew this fact. Their lack of 3rd party support hurt the most. Same with every system.

It had a graphics co-processor capable of processing 16 bits.

IMO, some of the last games did indeed look great, but not on par with 32-bit systems. That's just LOL fanboyism.

Sapphire is on par with much of the Saturn library, or something like Einhander on PSX, imo.

Legend of Xanadu was pushing graphics that looked better and
on par with a 32 bit game. Not enough people have played it
    to know.

  9. I have (burned) sapphire and Legend of Xanadu. Although quite nice graphically, Sapphire hardly pushes the boundries of 32bit (unless you count Donkey Kong Country as 32bit looking as well)

Not so much pushing the best 32 bit game but a 16 bit
system that could or hold its own with some 32 bit games.
