The state shut down. How fucking clueless are you? If you needed to renew your driver's license, you couldn't. If you needed to get a marriage certificate you couldn't (ok, it's not all bad). The government pisses away a lot of money it shouldn't, mostly on burdens on society who aren't worth the oxygen they waste, but it is necessary, and being ok with it shutting down just confirms the idiocy that would lead one to be a democrat in the first place.
