That does not sound like Yoshi. Yoshi is nothing but sunshine!

Um, ok. Keep in mind that I was born and moved from there long before you were even a bad dream in your parents' heads. I always liked going back though. I spent lots and lots of summers at my grandparents' house there.

    Careful, sunshine can burn you.

I know, I know... crazy talk.
It is, because there's so much spin and bullshit nowadays. I'm sure there was before, too, but nowadays we actually know about it. Compare Bush's campaign talk to his accomplishments ("i dont believe in nation building", "we need sound policy based on science", etc.).

I am starting to think the best thing to do is always vote for the challenger. Vote for gridlock. Etc.

    IDBTN.

The fanboys only morphed into jaded it's-cool-to-hate-everything clouds of cold, angsty rain and thunder.

Er, pretty much any candidate outside of small local elections has a prior political history to draw on, it's not just their word. To wit, anyone who bothered to look at Bush's history as governor should not be at all surprised as to how his presidency has gone.

I'm glad I'm not alone on this.

It was no secret that Corzine had a hard on to raise taxes over and over again so he could keep increasing spending. The guy's either a dedicated socialist or a horrible business man; he's a billionaire so I doubt the latter is the case.

Too many people refuse to vote for a candidate based on their party alone. That's why congressional encumbents are re-elected 98% of the time.
