One side has a military with the most advanced weapons systems in the world, and one has gangs of criminals who represent no ones interests other than their own. You think Israel is making any headway to solving the Palestinian issue with this shit? They knew after that family taking a walk on the beach got gibbed that the hardcore militants were going to start up again, and they also knew that the Fatah opposition that was trying to get a referredum passed by the people to circumvent the extreme Hamas government and make some real progress on the road to peace was already in a trickier position. Now, the idea of even a single move toward peace is dashed on the rocks.
The only outcome to come from this will be the third fucking intifada and another ten or twenty years of back and forth bloodshed.
