I wonder if Microsoft will have ads where they have 2 guys together and one just completely talks trash on the other.
I can't belive that MS would put out an iPodesque device without some crippling DRM, so I can't get hyped for this.

And then remodel their website to display said ads on the main page along with snide comments littered all over the place?Originally Posted by avatar
Microsoft's gotta come up with another brand name for consumer electronics (this player, Xbox). "Microsoft" is so un-hip.
iPod is one of the stupidest names ever, though.

Microsoft = Good at making horribly "techy" software riddled with security flaws and bugs, also clunky, appalling hardware. This "OUR SCREEN IS BIGGER!!!11" attitude is exactly what's wrong with Microsoft and hardware. You don't really need a huge screen for these things, especially if it's going to start weighing down your pants.
I'll wait to see what this thing looks and plays like before even considering.

Name these players! (Seriously, I'm curious)Originally Posted by kedawa

Since I've never owned an iPod I can't say it's "better", but my Creative Nomad Zen Xtra was about half the price of an iPod and I can't think of a single thing wrong with it.Originally Posted by Cowdisease
