This could've had so much potential. There's no hook.
More like Bloodsport, less like after-school Karate class.
They're saving that underground setting for Wrestling Society X. Seriously.Originally Posted by Dolemite

Its about like watching two nerds getting in a fight after school. I like on that first clip how everyone kinda chants like valley girls. "come on yew guyz like watch the head" "yea like no head contact" God forbid they mess up their perfect sculpted fighting hair.
Sorry man, act tough all you want, taking repeated blows to the head just isn't bright. I have far more respect for instructors and schools that encourage their students to keep their braincases intact than to prepare themselves for imaginary street battles.Originally Posted by Kidnemo

Heck yea, I totally agree with you. Getting hit in the head sucks...Originally Posted by StriderKyo

Problem is, if you aren't training to get hit in the head, you aren't really fighting. Which is only part of it, if you aren't training to get hit in the head, that also means you aren't training to HIT in others in the head.
Which really is only part of a bigger problem, "point sparring" like they do in those clips is 99% removed from a real fight. Not hitting in the head and point fighting go hand in hand. Being a "badass" point fighter and the self inflated feeling of badassness you get from it instills a horribly false sense of confidence that has got many people hurt.
Not that I care though... because did you see those guys hair cuts on the show?!
DBZ spikes all around bitches!
HIYA!
It's hosted by Ernie Reyes jr.
Go watch Surf Ninjas.
They should have made a sequel to that one Saturday morning Martial Arts Show that came out on fox years ago after X-Men the Animated Series. That would have kicked ass.
I think the champion of this show needs to fight Diamond from American Gladiators.
