Lumines was average to begin with, like everyone said. Every Extend Extra has better gameplay and the progressive soundtrack everyone likes.

Hoobastank is much horribler.

And everyone shut up, Lumines was a rawesome puzzle game.

Mizuguchi is a fucking hack. That being said, stop making your shitty zomg almost progressive music slash puzzle games and give me Rez 2 you piece of shit.
ditto.
Lumines redefined the need for puzzle games to have an option to start at any difficulty level. I just wish people would stop buying them.. Oh well, at least the sequel will flop because its big selling point (the only game that people thought was remotely worth having on the new PSP at launch, although I disagree) is gone. His other puzzle game has the similar distinction of being one of the very few non-totally-crappy games on the hunk of shit DS.
Still, I want Every Extend Extra![]()
Meteos was great, but it got old way faster than Lumines did for me.
The first Lumines' music was brilliant, especially some of the later tracks. Take A Dog Out A Walk, Neodymium, Chinese Restaurant and Moon Beam were genius. And nobody can dislike Shinin', it's impossible.
As for this...New Order and the return of Mondo Grosso are cool, but Gwen Stefani and Focus Group Eyed Peas can seriously fuck off. Oh well, what can they really add to Lumines to improve it anyway? Exploding bombs? Using hats instead of blocks?
I love Lumines, but I've been more looking forward to EEE anyway.

I don't get all the hate for Gwen Stefani, I enjoyed the hell out of her solo album. Shame about Black Eyed Peas and Hoobastank, though. I just hope there's an option like in Infected that allows me to block out songs I don't like (goodbye, Slipknot!).
And I hope Lumines II doesn't play too much like Lumines Mobile -- it had some weird additions I wasn't too fond of.

You are correct, sir. Its a shame that they'll destroy Meteos 2 as well with Disney characters.Originally Posted by James
Weird, I loved Meteos. It's pretty much my favorite Tetris-style game. I played that thing for weeks.
But yeah, as far as I'm concerned Q? is all about Every Extend Extra right now. 99 Nights and the various Lumines spin-offs just don't interest me that much.
