Damn. I didn't realize how fortunate I am. My paternal grandfather was an engineer for Westinghouse. My maternal grandfather was a doctor. My dad's a VP for an insurance company. I have an uncle who went to Penn is now an editor for a newspaper in Connecticut. My aunt managed to marry a VP for Westinghouse. There is one useless uncle in there, who has been in and out of jail, but it seems every family has at least one fuck up.

And my maternal grandparents were hardworking immigrants who gave birth to all people who now run bagel stores in NY and live quite well, and my maternal grandmother (the hick in MO who had her husband leave her when she got pregnant) gave birth to my father, on the board of directors and executive VP of a fortune 500 insurance co., and my uncle, who joined the military and spent years stationed in Germany only to continue his education and eventually found a Diabetes research company which he sold in the last decades and still receives millions every year from the people he sold it to just so he keeps the info secret.
