In Yoshi's defense, SoTC, while a good game, is not something Diff would enjoy. But I could be wrong.
I'm curious if you have actually played SotC or if it's just another one of those games you bash without having touched like most of the Final Fantasy games and Halo 2.Originally Posted by Yoshi

Diff's like Mikey from the old commercials. You never know what his Life cereal will be.
I can understand if Yoshi genuinely doesn't like SotC. I just hope he's not assuming based on Ico as they play quite differently. I vastly prefer SotC over Ico.

SotC is too easy, and the fights aren't really that involved, usually requiring you to solve only one gimmick per fight. Those are the problems with the game, not the camera.

I'm probably to harsh on it. I just wanted it to be as open-ended as the first scene. It also had way too many QTE's. Even a so-so fighting engine (like Shenmue) would have been way better than the basic/monotonous QTE's.Originally Posted by NeoZeedeater
In the end it was lack of execution that did it in for me. The demo released prior to the release, were the developer went over all the options in the first scene got me so excited. Then when I actually played the game and realized that it was pretty much a linear adventure game, I was pretty let down.
On a lighter note I pick up Finny the Fish today.
Good, but very, very overrated game (at least pricewise).Originally Posted by Diff-chan
I suppose Four Swords is only feasible if you have 4 friends with 4 gba's who all like Zelda and booze as much as you do. It beats the holy hell out of Crystal Chronicles though.
I've played SotC and the worst the FF series has to offer. Halo 2 single player, which is all I care about, is worse than Halo 1 according to everyone, and Halo 1 wasnt that good. SotC is better than Ico though, which was just a terrible game.Originally Posted by NeoZeedeater
I actually enjoyed Four Swords single player, but it's certainly better multi.Originally Posted by Cowutopia
