Just got back from my 2nd viewing.

Still fucking rad.

He has more realistic villains than that ..

Scarface/Ventriloquist - Could work well. Man has a puppet, who barks orders. He starts running the mob in the loss of The Joker.

Mad Hatter - Psychologist like Scareface, who also made hats that makes the wearer do the bidding of the Mad Hatter.

Red Hood - Good way to intro a new Joker. Since, in the Grant Morrison version Joker always reinvents himself.

Lady Shiva - A fine way to bring Ra's back into the universe. She is his right hand ... ahem woman.

Talia Al Ghul - Same idea. She can introduce Ra's back. Yet also allow Batman to fall in love with a new lead and she is the daughter of Ra's.

Riddler - Why not?

Dr. Hurt - A New villain. He put Batman through a series of tests, for him to Better understand The Joker. In the process he created three Batmen, who would replace Batman if ever something happened to him.

The Batmen (Batman and Sons) - Dr. Hurt decided that the three Batmen needed to be driven by rage and sorrow, so he killed the third man's family, pouring glue in his brothers eyes, and carving up his sister. He also began adding venom and monster serum to the second cop, Bat-bane, until that cop was driven to kill his own family in rage. Doctor Hurt put hypnotic suggestions into Batman's head to help him forget the whole experience and dismiss it has a bad dream.

Next flick needs some titty in it. Batgirl, Ivy, Harley, Talia, whatever man. I think we can all agree on this.

I'd put a small amount of money down on the next baddie being the Riddler, though. I don't think they'll be able to resist doing a Memento-esque setup with that.

Just make a teacher named Jervis Tetch who, as part of the plan to remake Gotham from its darker days, sponsors a live action storytelling experience of Alice in Wonderland in the park for all the city's elementary students. Unfortunately, his past reveals an unhealthy attraction toward young blond girls which is being covered up by a shadowy billionaire named Thomas Elliot who is also funding the program. Elliot's purpose in setting a deranged pedophile loose on the children of Gotham is for it to be uncovered later as the fault of his childhood friend Bruce Wayne, who Elliot carries a long-standing grudge against.

There you go, Hush and Mad Hatter.

Since TDK ends with Bats as a wanted fugitive, I think the next one should use Mad Hatter and/or Clayface to really play up the "who can you trust?" angle. You could have the Hatter controlling Bats' allies, or Clayface impersonating them. Of course since this series is going for a more real feel, Clayface couldn't go full-on mud monster... he'd just be a master of disguise, maybe even without any actual shapeshifting powers, just really good makeup and mimic talent.

Are you guys reading your posts? The idea that they will use Mad Hatter and that he will control people with hats is laughable. It's going to be the Riddler and catwomen.
