Perhaps the problem is that I went in with HIGH expectations. I thought Ghost Rider was alright, because I wasn't expecting much.

The problem is you have shitty taste. How the hell can you say TDK sucked yet Ghost Rider was alright? You just keep digging yourself a deeper and deeper hole.

All of SSJN's points are pretty valid. I was wondering how a 20 story fall didn't leave a mark, too. Batman might have been okay because of the armour, but Rachel would have been broken to pieces.

For the bat pod scene with Joker made sense because of the relationship between Batman and The Joker at that point in the movie. Batman is about (not ALL about) showmanship and intimidation. Him running at Joker was an easy to way get the upper hand on him in the confrontation. Usually someone would dive out of the way to the ground when a huge cycle was coming at them at that speed. Like Advocate said: Bruce really didn't understand The Joker at this point in the game, so it kind of backfire when The Joker clearly didn't care if he was hit or not and didn't move.

Great movie IMO. But there was some weird shit going on with the physics.

I think he's speaking more to his relative experience at either flick with regards to his preconceived opinions being confirmed or not, rather than any kind of objective stance on the matter. It's not the end of the world.

I feel as if it comes from a basic insecurity of some sort, stemming from --well, who knows, but it's certainly there.

Perhaps it's a feeling of being part of a wider community in agreement?

I just thought of something.
When Batman caught the Joker with his grapple gun, did it go through his foot? It looked like it did, and the Joker seems to not feel pain, so it would make sense.
