Begins has been my favorite batman movie, and even if it's not the best, who cares, it's certainly one of THE best.
Honestly, the only thing that really fucking hurt Begins was Shaky Camera.

Begins still suffered from Too Many Characters Syndrome. Though I love the imagery of Demon Bats, Scarecrow was pretty much a no-show in that flick as a result.
I thought the way they did Scarecrow was fantastic actually, it introduced his character and how exactly he came about, while leaving him in the open for future Batman's. Granted I never cared much for Scarecrow, but I loved him here.
I'd like to see if the sequel resolves the Scarecrow thread in some way, like Joker forcing him to make Smilex gas or some-such.
What you put there seems a bit silly, but we're on the same page here. I thought the characters were handled fantastically and I expect the villains to appear when we least expect them in later ones.
I kind of hope they're building up for a Knightfall-type storyline, where every villan gets busted out of Arkham and Bats has to round 'em all up. Not killing off the bad guys in Begins was a great move.
"too many characters" and then "scarecrow was pretty much a no-show".
you had Ras and a bit of Scarecrow. i didn't think it was too much (although i would have personally not put Ras in there. not because of too many but just because he's better as back story info, not main story).
