Thread: PC Gamers, RUN to Circuit City

  1. PC Gamers, RUN to Circuit City

The ad has b1g1 free for 19.99 or less, but it actually works like this:

Has to be the POS system with a GUI not the older dos prompt based system

Grab a game 19.99 or less , grab another one ANY price
Make sure the cashier scans the cheaper game first (wont work if they scan the more expensive one first)
The higher priced game will ring up after the package total as .01

This is a glitch they had earlier in the year for a different sale but never fixed it.

    Picked up so far:

Before I knew about the any price:

Medal of Honor Pacific Assault - 11.96
    Serious Sam 2 - 14.96 = free

    After:
    Darwinia - 19.99
    Titan Quest - 49.99 = Free

    Stubbs the Zombie = 19.99
    Prey - 49.99 = Free

You should grab games cheaper than 19.99 to take fulkl advantage.

Also CC does not update price tags, so many games are cheaper than tagged

  2. Shit son, you just got 160 bucks worth of games for 50.

This needs to happen with console games.

  3. Someone at CC is going to get fired for this. Bonus!

  4. We still have POS dos based systems at my store
    Check out my blog: ExHardcoreGamer.com

  5. Sucks my CC has basically given up on computer game and hasn't had a new title for six months or more, while most of the dreck on the shelf is non-games stuck into a corner.

lol Circuit City is such a piece of shit company.

  7. It appears that this computer glitch has been semi-fixed, as games over $19.99 no longer work with this deal, but you can still get a game of greater value for free if the cashier scans the cheaper game first.
