if they drop to 10-15 I'm going to buy them all up and mod them to power a speaker cab. (its a guitar/ipod amp head if you can't tell, and super girly)

oh and found this while playing with google. Japan has a stitch cd player. bbobb should pick one up for me and chux =3

Every one I've heard sounded great. I'd really like to hear the bass amp.

There's a bunch of them around here since he's based in the area and played (and still plays) in more than a few local bands.

I don't know about boutiquey shit. I mean I spend lots of time at Soldano and of course wish anybody building amps for money the greatest success. But I have to imagine that a Sovtek Mig 100 is going to give you everything Ben Verellen's hundred watter would for one third the price. Strip the tolex and stain it up special and you've got the look you love.

Helms Alee is that guy's current band btw. I have a buddy that gushes over them but I have yet to listen.

I built me a Fuzz Face from a kit. It sounds great when you play but for whatever reason when you stop it has this squealy noise problem I have to figure out. Also I think I'll be allowed to build my own Supercharger GTO pedal (crazy tube overdrive) but at Soldano and under their supervision. I'm pretty stoked about that.

And it looks like I get to do a bunch of audio work at Big Sound because he wants to hook up another analog console next to the one he has so we can A/B them and then pick the best, retrofit it with the best parts from the parts console (he has two big Tascams and two DDA's) and then recap the keeper. I love this shit and it's been about four years since my last big project so I'm pretty stoked.

Just bought this bad boy on craigslist. Had been jamming with my buddies on this $200 shitty ass bass I was borrowing from a friend. Decided to upgrade and found this on craigslist. 5 strings is better than 4, right? Hopefully it doesn't fuck me up too much. The guy said it was a dean edge pro from 2001, although it doesn't have gold knobs, EQ, or bass clef inlay on the 12th fret. From what I've gathered on musicians friend, it is the upgraded dean edge, but not quite a pro model. It's got 2 EMG-HZ pickups (whatever that means) and they need a 9v battery apparently?? Could anyone explain?

Also, how the fuck do I find replacement knobs? One was already missing, but then I spun one too hard in one direction and it popped off and now I'm not sure how to reattach it.
