Since that rat bastard sold the Traynor out from under me I've got a line on a Peavey VTM-60 for $150.
Hopefully this works out since that's a fantastic price for a great amp. I'd plan on running it through my 2x15 since it has a 4ohm out.

Boo, Hiss.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I got a fucking B25B Ampeg 2xfucking15 cabinet for $200
I'm stripping the original tolex(sp?) (shredded) and staining the wood a dark brown so it'll match the stain job someone did on my my bass head in the 70's
So lets recap shall we?
my setup = 1967 Mosrite bass guitar into a 1963 Ampeg B25 with a 1965(?) Ampeg 2x15 B25B cabinet.
ALSO I can take my powered Y switch and split that into an Orange AD200B driving a 1990's Ampeg SVT6x10 and SVT4x10 if I really want to.
I dare you to stand in front of me.
Dude just emailed me back about the VTM and is going to call tomorrow to hash out the details.

Boo, Hiss.
I too am getting dicked on a Traynor product I've been trying to pick up on behalf of Shakey's bass rig.
Also I went to that crazy garage sale. I got a literal carload of tubes, resistors, caps, transistors and other assorted vintage and more recent electronical junk. I took pictures of course but i got no time right now.
THE SICKNESS, IT GETS WORSE!
Hey, I'm looking to spend about $600 on a solid body. Suggestions? I'm thinking about a Fender Telecaster.
New guitars suffer from a serious "fuck you" tax*. I recommend buying one used and getting it set up by someone reputable.
I've never actually played a Telecaster.

I think I'd get a new one set up anyway. I've thought about the used route which if it was actually me purchasing, I'd probably do. But my dad wants to buy Tristen a new guitar.
And I want a Telecaster because it will have quite a different sound than the Gibson made Epiphone Sheraton II we have, which is semi-hollow body and has a lot of heavy back end. The Telecaster will be a lot brighter and cleaner.
What do you play other than the Mosrite?
