Thread: Music Gear Discussion

  1. Does (did) Orange make a 2x15?

  2. I don't think I've ever seen one.

  3. Thanks for that link cheeksman.

Shakey, take a gander at this thread. I haven't really looked but if it exists, it's probably there. The first pic is totally insane anyways.

*edit* Yes they did make one as seen in the 1973 catalog.

Also they made a 24x12 which you can peep toward the bottom of the 1971 catalog. This would be perfect for you imo.

  4. Yeah, that's one of those sidefiring deals, which isn't quite what I want. Actually I think it was in the back line of that AC/DC vid we watched the other night.

    Must have that 24X12.

    also: that page is sex.

fing english. They get all the best toys

  6. That DJ setup is the illest.

Also, about that GTO pedal. I had had the Orange sitting around here on my desk and when it was time to take the GTO to the studio to fire it up I took the Orange too. The first thing I did was plug in the Orange (not to the pedal though) and give it a real go. HOLY FUCK. So yeah I destroyed my hearing after about an hour with that and when I finally did hook up the GTO to the LaFayette I couldn't even begin to make heads or tails of what I was hearing. I've been nasty sick pretty much ever since but I'll probably get back up there within a day or three.

  8. And after you tell him what he wants to hear please tell me you got that crunkass Apollo 160 thing you posted a pic of.

  9. Wow, that place is awesome, but its like a 24 hr drive from where I live.

Unfortunately i got out bid on the Apollo and forgot to rebid . Went for roughly $250, and i would have gladly paid more for it. Oh wells, there's all sorts of oddities that appear on the bay, i'll just have to be more on the ball next time.

since we have so many mosrite lovers here, I'll hide this little bit of info here.

The bearings in the tailpeice are Torrington B-36's.

I'm looking for some as mine has one missing. Someone cut some rubber tubing and jabbed that in there =/. If my sources work out, I'll get some orignals for free. If not, I found a place online that has them for about $7 each.
