I read about them for a half hour or so earlier today. "novelty" is a word that comes up a lot. In concept they seem pretty cool. Report back if you obtain information please!

The idea is to use them in some folk/punk stuff I've been working on. They're easily moved and could easily be set up on a street corner.
I mean, I'll play on trashcans and washtubs, I don't give a shit. This is DIY appalachian style.
The timbales look interesting. I just need to add a kick of some sort.

Get a kick that is designed to hold two rack toms. Mount a snare and cymbal on it instead. Drink whiskey. Get down.
