I think I don't care? I recently paid $4kish for a b15 reissue. I have to spend my money on something... you know?
Do these amps you speak of have a 15/30 watt switch? That is, honestly, the most important feature to me. Well... second most important if we count the white tolex. Low power is where it is at.

Either way I'm gonna wait for the new Ampeg combos to come out before I make a decision.

Yes. The BM version has the half power switch. And it is one knob (and you've said you liked that in the past).

No. I'm serious. My paycheck is way higher than my living expenses. I find it confusing, but rather enjoyable.

I'll check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

  4. New products have a warranty. Sometimes a warranty is worth paying for. I know that many techs consider AC30's cunts to work on. Something to consider.

Also! I am buying a pedal for the first time since I got that Pharaoh a year ago. http://dunwichamps.com/Fuzz.html

    Yep. That is a fuzz.

  6. It seems similar to the Dunwich device.
    Boo, Hiss.

  7. They're similar in concept. Both based on a silicon Fuzz Face, both having adjustable high pass filter. But featureswise the FAC Off has that extra transistor and the ability to switch between a softer fuzz and a crazy fuzz which the tweak does not. The Tweak is also built surface mount style which I just don't dig. I heard the board is drilled for through-hole compatibility but still, not my bag. I also used to have a Tweak Fuzz and I didn't appreciate the thinass sound. Selectable between styles of thinness And lastly I'm buying the Dunwich because he's The Owl and Seymour Duncan is Red Robin. I'm with the little guy whenever possible.

Josh, guitar player from Valis played one of those white AC30's last night. I couldn't get a very good read on it because he was using it very differently than most AC30 guys do. He had it dialed pretty dark and then was using a Turbo Rat for distortion. And then had this fucking digital phaser or flanger or both fuck it I don't even know. That thing was wretched. So even though I heard it from six feet away, I don't think I really ever heard what it sounded like.

Oni just got a 78 P bass and this picture is to show you his bass stack. It sounds SO GOOD

Two 6x10s? I approve... Even though I detect a Christmas tree bass amp. Get your boy a v4 or two. IMO and all.
Re: ac30. Dudes with cool amps who shit all over them with distasteful effects really rub my rhubarb.

Is that a Bassman TV behind that glass door?
