Unrelated to teardrops: I broke out the Valve Jr. at practice last night. That thing sounds so good.
Correction: He also buys mint vintage gear and puts it behind glass in his study to remember how he wanted to play guitar in law/business school.
I mean any Orange after the 70s. That 90s OR120 reissue (which I just sold last night!) is very faithful to the original except that they cut corners wherever possible. For instance, worst pots I have ever seen in amplifier. Unforgivable in an amp made in England and sold for nearly three grand.
I got my Sovtek off just such a fancypants Harley/Escalade lawyer type. Sometimes I'm glad those guys are out there. It was museum quality when I got it.
I know I've badmouthed both Fender amps and guitars in the past but I am just plain crazy about this amp!

The 70's Bassman is the motherfucking business.
IT IS!
BTW, that is one of our main fans selling the Melvins tour van on ebay. I hope he gets a million!
Interesting tidbid: Orange was going to have their amps made in MS at Peavey. But the business deal fell through. Even the cheap stuff.
Mississippi made Oranges. What odd ducks that might have been.
I still have some of the original tolex samples from the negations.
Tidbit.

Don't be a cunt. I'm just trying to be helpful.
