Peavey Oranges? That's mental! Speaking of modern Orange goods a guy played a Bass Terror the other night and it sounded great. I forgot that amp existed and when the bass player was setting a Tiny Terror on his 8x10 I remember being puzzled. Then when it was properly loud, I was double puzzled.

So the Bassman with my prototype pedal has made it through two shows and kicked ass. I'm pretty happy with my sound as well as the band's right now. Oni's been practicing with Shakey's SVT head and that sounds great too. I don't know if we'll use that for the video thingy today but I'm pretty sure we're using it on tour.

I sold my mig to a guy in Canada so as we were packing it up I decided to take some video of my buddy playing his '68 Jag into my prototype fuzz into the mig into an old Sound City cab. This video sounds like shit as obviously such a configuration would buttrape any camera mic, but it was fun to make so I share with you!

Pa, is that Bassman modded at all? I thought jumping channels on Fenders put 'em out of phase.

I think I've mentioned before that my dad (like his dad) is a luthier. He makes instruments, especially mandos of all sizes (mandolas, octave mandolins, etc). I think he hit on something with his latest mandocello (a guitar-sized 8-stringed mando tuned like a cello).
