Lets talk about this in full.

• My car was totaled the week I got your amp.
• Your amp was a nasty rusted boat anchor when I got it. Dude shipped the thing in two Budweiser boxes taped together and it was full of dirtdoppers and spider webs.
• I didn't have the tools on hand to fix your amp. I don't own a signal generator or an oscilloscope. This wouldn't have been a problem before I lost the car, but it became one.
• The parts needed were hard to get. Someone's friend bought up ever small Ampeg cancap on the market and the waiting list was like 6 months. It wasn't safe to send you the amp without a new cancap, but you insisted otherwise.

I can't believe you're in here complaining about this. You got almost half the parts for free and you've never heard the first complaint out of me over what I lost in gas.

Re: cancap. I took the amp to my tech and he got one in less than a week, and had the amp to me (with fixes on the things you fucked up) in about 4 hours.

You complained a whole lot about the cost of the cancap. But if you really feel this way, you can mail me $50 for what I spent on gas. Hell, bump it up to a 100 for the free caps, power resistors, power switch and power tubes you got.

I live in a college town. Plenty of people don't have cars. And of the ones that do, they aren't wild on the idea of loaning it out for a day of dragging old amps around. Most of the time my schedule just didn't match up with other people's on when they didn't need their car.
