Get a Fender Greta before they're all gone.

  2. I think they are pretty much all gone.

I can build just about anything pre digital that you might want.

I'm slow though, so, unless you buy the whole kit where I have it to knock out in a weekend, it might take months.

Prices are pretty ok on ebay still. If you like the Fender sound at a low volume it is worth buying.

I can believe that. I've been playing my Tele an awful lot lately - - the neck on mine is perfect for my hands, and it stays in tune remarkably well. And that TONE. I think I said before that the Tele is just an amazingly versatile guitar. Everyone played one. So many classic riffs and licks - - even by guys later famous for playing Gibsons or whatever - - were done on Teles.

You mentioned the thinline - - I've been tempted for a long time to get one...very, very cool. Even the Squier Classic Vibe Custom looks good - - they sound good, too, to my ears.

    That's a purchase you won't regret.

I have said it before, and I'll say it again. Squires are surprisingly solid guitars, especially for what they cost. My all time favourite bass guitar is a Squire. It has been going strong for 12 years, which is about 20-25 years of a normal person playing it.

Thinlines have a slightly thinner neck, which is good or bad depending on things. I'd recommend swinging by a Guitar Center and trying one out, then buying a 70's Japanese copy off of ebay. I can vouch for the Greco brand.

It used to say "fuck" but we went to the studio and I tried to psych myself out.

And the terrible things I've done to the fretboard.

  10. Fantastic pics. That bass looks great, and the thinline looks wicked. Great looking axes to bring out on stage. Ah, just when I thought I was done buying gear. IT NEVAH STOPS!!
