I've been spending alot of time at home with my sick, aging dog. This has me antsy so I've decided I'll start doing clones and customs for cash again. This first thing out the door was a gift to my buddy who has done the layout for each release of our album for free. He's spent a buttload of time on it, even driving into his work after hours so he could handle some biz on a rush. So I busted out a little Mosrite Fuzzrite clone for fun. It was kind of weak and vintage sounding at home here with the practice rig. I figured it would be something nice to give him but likely that it'd just end up as a toy on the shelf. Maybe for a little studio use. I dropped it off last night and through his big rig it sounded real good. They're heading out for tour on Wednesday and he says it's already on his board because he's found several songs for which it is perfect. Sweet!
I took this photo months ago and I keep forgetting to show it. This shop is up the street from my house. They have all sorts of sweet stuff in there. I asked them about this thing and they know nothing.
Also I whipped up a Sonic Titan clone for myself, just to keep busy 'n stuff.
