What did you end up dropping on that Gibson? I've been thinking of getting one of those Epiphone Valve Juniors and hot-rodding it a bit with a tone control. They only cost $130 new, but it'd be stupid to get another amp if it's not necessary. The Kustom Tube 12 (12 watts) I have now is just a touch too loud to saturate at night.

At the end in stores they were $300 and I got that used one for $200. There's another shitty vid of my shitty playing in the musicians youtube thread where I'm using the GA-5 and the Marshall.

Honestly, right now I feel like the luckiest man alive. That Lafayette and the GA-5 are both so sweeeeeeet to play through.

Plus a shitty nonyellow no case/amp havin Chiquita went on ePay for twice what I paid for my complete setup so it looks like I've got a nice little comeup heading my way.

Don't know if anybody here cares but there's a Univox E-3 head (same as my Lafayette) on the Epay for hecka cheap. It ends tomorrow.

Where were you seeing those ga-5's for $300? Cheapest I found was $375 used on ebay.

That was the blowout price at GC and MF and suchlike at the end. I never saw this price but I talked to more than one person who did and I think I saw it listed that way on MF but it said something like "out of stock" or "discontinued".

There is one on the ebay right now but it's already at $271. (*edit* fuck this guy his feedback is shit) If you like I can keep an eye peeled for it on my local CL. I check that shit about 450 times a day.

Some people don 't use the model number. Actually the guy I got it off of didn't. It's also called the Les Paul Jr Goldtone.

Someone was selling an Engelhardt upright bass in my area for $275. Of course I jumped at the chance, but it turned out to be a 1/4 size which is just too small for me. It was originally advertised as a 1/2, which would have been fine...
