I understand that, but my main amp runs at 4 ohms, so i don't want to change my cabs permanently.

I guess you could run two of your 4 ohm cabs in series to get 8 ohms.

This fucker at 7 watts is SO MUCH LOUDER than that GA-5 at 5 watts. Plus the distortion is all crunchy crazy. I'll try to riff out a little on video and post it to the musical youtube thread sometime soonish.

Oh snap, that Orange is fucking awesome. That and an Orange 2x12 cab would be the perfect small/medium club rig. Nice buy!

Good call on the 2x12. I first plugged it into the Marshall and it was too much. Seriously. Even at 7 watts with the Lafayette 2x12 it's insanely loud. This will go great with my new business venture but I think the GA-5 -> 2x12 is going to be my practice rig. It crunches nice and doesn't harass my tired old man eardrums quite so much.

Do you even know how bad I want to take this thing apart?! I don't have any other Chinese made tube amps and I so badly want to seed what kind of job the Chinamen do. I might have to do this tonight.

I've been wanting a Tiny Terror for a long time. Or a MiniMat (Matamp version). It's a little hard to swallow at 5 bills though. And then there's the URB fund I've started a while ago that must come first. I have an Orange 2x12 that I used with my AD30TC when I had it and it was never not loud enough.

I wonder if you could mod the TT with a pentode/triode switch to get it down to 3~4 watts...? I need cheeks to think about that.
