I'm legit confused. Isn't this just a recording of someone else song slowed down?

  2. Kinda! We're singing the vocals and adding noise overtop of their remix. It's not meant to be much of an artistic statement, it's meant to be fun.
    Boo, Hiss.

    Art is for assholes anyway.

This guy right here: http://musiciswin.com is the only dude that I've EVER been able to sit down and learn anything from.

He has a completely different approach to music than I do, and likes those shredder dudes and modern rock that I don't. Something clicked with the way he talks about scales and chords and shit though, and I've watched most of his videos, and even paid $10 for his course.

I played for 20 years before I started trying to get better, instead of faster. It's been wild to see how much I already "knew" even though I didn't know what it was called.

  5. Recorded 2 Eps in 4 hours at the studio today - an hour of mixing, and the engineer's mastering it solo tonight.

    Excited to hear the results.
    Boo, Hiss.

I'm looking at his Super System and hmm, I've been learning a lot of it recently. Someone showed me one stupid chord shape and it kind of started to unspool everything in my head. The problem I have is translating that to actually improvising or soloing or what have you.

Did you buy the course? Triads are the most useful thing I have ever learned.

  8. No, actually I just read the link for the first time.

Yea it was a triad the guy showed me and then I was on my way.

  9. Traded a cheap guitar for an Arturia Microbrute. Thing sounds FILTHY.
    Boo, Hiss.
