It's been ages since I've watched/enjoyed any anime, so I have no idea why I started watching this tonight, but after the first two episodes... I'm pleasantly surprised.

It's basically the translations of the books that the series is based on. A lot of shit they didn't show like when they were filming the movie and things that just go beyond the series. (If you though Haruhi was crazy in the series, check out the second book when they're doing the film, she's like, bitch batshit crazy)
