I just finished reading Eragon and Eldest, which were wonderful, and now I'm looking for a new Fantasy book to pick up.
I've been hearing things about A Song of Fire and Ice and I'm wondering if that's where I should go or if there's other books I should read first for any number of reasons.

A Song of Fire and Ice is a solid series, though the latest is kinda disappointing, I don't feel that it will be a trend. I recommend it.

I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Read the Dark Tower books. It's like 7 in total.
I haven't read the last two btw.

A read the Dark Elf Trilogy. It was okay.
Time for a change
I read the first one. It was my first and last foray into D&D novels.

The Dark Tower series really is great, until about book 5. Then it descends into garbage.
