Kinda hard to see from the video but it looks like an updated Tempest 2000.... I don't mind, it could be awesome.

The last thing he said in the video is that it had to be adjusted so that there wasn't an overload of visual effects. I think it looks great.

Never played Tempest?

Tempest was good when it came out, then when he remade it, then when he remade it again, then when a bunch of freeware clones came out, but at this point enough's enough. "The same as last time but even more gaudy" just doesn't really get my interest.
