Thread: Military Recruiters Cited for Misconduct

  1. One of my friends in HS told a recruiter that I was interested. This fuck found me in a mall on a saturday, at my work (WHILE I WAS WORKING) and insisted on calling me every day.

    I fucking hate recruiters.

  2. Funny thing, I actually talked to a USMC recruiter in college my 2nd year, then decided not to join and reconsider after I graduated (and I was serious, my dad convinced me I'd be a greater asset with the degree already in hand). Well once graduation loomed I decided not to, mostly based on the deteriorating situation in Iraq, BUT I NEVER GOT ANOTHER PHONE CALL OR ANYTHING! Very weird. Guess they don't want me. Or is that a good thing?

  3. I had a recruiter dog me for a little while when I graduated HS. He even offered to drive to my house, pick me up, and drive me to the recruitment station to "talk." Based on this thread topic it's a good thing I turned him down, huh?

I'm sure these yahoos have recruitment quotas to meet, just like cops have traffic/parking ticket quotas. That's why the're so aggressive about getting you to join (them in the sack).

Taco Bell must == white trash symbolism to the army or some shit.
    IBTN.

BTW, ever since Green Cactus opened up here I may never go to Taco Bell again.

Of course they do, and since Iraq has become such a clusterfuck recruitment levels are way way way down. The military is having a lot of problems getting enough people to join. The pressure these recruiters are under is fucking immense right now. Before Iraq people were lining up to join. I really do sympathize with the vast majority of them, considering the military is their career.

In fact, the recruitment situation is so bad now, the Army has raised their cutoff join age to 42!!.

  6. 42? lol.

I knew they'd start lowering the requirements given the current situation. I wonder when they'll start requiring drill instructors to speak both English and Spanish?

  7. I think it's all rigged now, hah. My brother apparently scored extremely high on his tests for the Marines and all this shit. He's a total dumbass and barely graduated high school, and now he acts like he's a genius. Their recruitment tests must have pretty low standards.

Recruiters have been helping people who wouldn't otherwise make it for a LONG time now.

I doubt any Mexican restaurant in Long Island is any good.
