Japanese Analyst Cuts PS3 Shipment Target

Sony expects to ship 6 million PlayStation 3 units by the end of next March, but an analyst from Mitsubishi UFJ Securities doesn't believe that will happen. The firm slashed the shipment estimate and company rating today, sending Sony shares downward.

It'll be the #1 next gen console world wide by this time next year. This guy says he doesn't think they'll make it, Sony is still saying they will. Even if he's right and they only launch with 3 million, that's twice as much as the 360 had at launch. The bastards'll be fine.
