Still looks like a big departure from the rest of the series, but not as much as the original trailer made it out to be. Definitely something I'm looking forward to.

I had no interest in Tony Hawk 8 until I watched that video. Is that just one aspect of the game, or the main focus?

I haven't played a Tony Hawk since Underground (which is the best one imo) but this looks like a good place to get back into the series.

I'm guessing that that mode replaces the Focus mode from THUG2, so you'll probably build up a meter and use it in each big combo.

After being burnt out after Tony 3 I'm all about this one. And after looking at more videos, this is looking really damn good.

That's a good point. Guess they wanted to concentrate on kick tricks and leave something for the next game.
