I played 5 hours of Diamond yesterday. Evolved my Piplup and beat the first Gym leader (Bubble = 1-hit kill on most rock types). Good times.

I'll try out the wifi trading system tonight, from what I've been hearing it's a nice addition and can be quite fruitful.

Yeah the addition of online play is why I'm going to give this a shot even though I'm sure I'll stop playing it shortly.

I can't wait to pick up this and a strategy guide once I get a little extra cash.

Any detailed first impressions? I haven't seen a review yet.

I picked up Diamond. I haven't played a Pokemon game since red/blue/yellow so this is hilarious for me. Last time I played I was still in elementary school.

Picked up Pearl, chose Piplup, beat the first Gym. Great game so far, lots of new additions. Haven't played one since Gold. Team so far is a Shinx which I evolved into Luxio, an Abra which is now a Kadabra, and my evolved Piplup. I'll post my friend code later tonight...if I can figure out where to look mine up.
