Windows and check disk chkdisk

I ran check disk.

It spat out a lot of files with the .chk extension.

Any app out there to cobble these thousands of .chk files back into what they used to be?

Maybe with a little more information. Why did you run chkdsk? You ran chkdsk, not chkdisk, right, from the command prompt? What problem did you have in the first place? Windows XP Home edition?
