UPDATE on my film 2 situation:

If you remember i posted the film "Statue Of Faux" and then reported how my teacher hated it, and would fail me if i turned it in.

I finally talked to him today, basically saying wtf am i supposed to do. He asks me to remind him what shots i had, he replied with:

"Wow youre, right, thats not much to work with, hell i dunno what you could do either."

I had a good chuckle at his response. Ive been given the option to dive into others footage to use in conjunction with the assigned footage, so lets see how this works out.

I'd get the original footage. And put in the upper corner ... Original Footage. And let it all play out. Then let it fade to black. Then Upper corner again ... Remix. And in the new footage use like Stock footage from like the beginning of Private Ryan. And replace the music and dialog with the old Keystone cops music.

-Make an absurd silent nonsensical "last man on earth" film.

-Back a soundtrack beat to it, where each step, each kicking th ecan, each news paper opening creates another sound (see: bjork) hahah

Or you could do like a rickroll to it. Basically just start at the end. At the point where he walks up to the camera (before he goes back and kicks the can) you can edit in like Rick Ashleys face for a split second. Then when he kicks the can and he puts his hands up to his face ... the Rickroll begins.

cant useany outside footage. If i could i would have saved the Statue of Faux project with photographs of the real statue of david. Sounds ect is free game.

OKay make the statue sing the "Never gonna give you up" with interspersed shots of the footage you have. Have like the statue sing and then have like the guy walking in the park zoom out and then put in the corner ... make it like an old 80's video.

My second favorite scene is the dance montage with Gene, but I couldn't find that shit anywhere. I love when I tell people the title and they think I'm talking about a porn. Fools.
