Whoop whoop for the WRX STi. My dad has a non-STi one (the old bug-eye lights before they switched to the Euro-style). He put a little STi emblem on it for laughs, though. It's been officially totaled twice but you can't tell at all, he found some nice places to take care of the body work. His engine has avoided all damage in the three major accidents he was in (he wasn't at-fault for any of them). Got side-swiped by a lady on a cell phone in a Lexus SUV, then rear-ended by someone who slipped on an ice patch, and then something about swerving to avoid an idiot and hitting a curb or fence.

Who cares, the car looks and runs great. If he ever gets a new one I am totally inheriting the glory of turbo.

Yeah, I'm sure Diamondback Viper is fast as hell, but it looks horrible.

I had no idea but you're right. It's on the Mitsubishi GS platform. I still think there is no possible way the Evo X will be worse than IX, which is aleady an incredible performance car. The new one is supposed to be significantly ligher too so the new platform can't be that bad. Until it comes out and is proven otherwise, I have full confidence in the Evo crew to make another awesome vehicle.
