Thread: Anyone Seeing Any Shows Soon?

  1. Yeah, that's kind of what I meant, not that Lady Gaga and Justin Timberlake is that weird on its own (though perhaps for an adult heterosexual male...)

I totally agree with this and, with a list like that, it makes sense that you're used to paying more for shows. Seattle has a vibrant and diverse music scene that I've been enamored with for a while. When I've gotten so used to it that I can find what I want in a small bar on any given night, I find that I rarely go to shows in venues with occupancy higher than a couple hundred. Again, not paying for many of them helps, too.

  3. Just got my tix for Coheed. Thanks for the head's up Ryan!

  4. Seeing Black Cobra, Bison BC, and Chrissake tonight at a record store.
    Boo, Hiss.

  5. That line up (except with Priestess instead of Chrissake) is coming to Seattle supporting High On Fire in May. Should be good. I saw Bison BC with Kylsesa and was pretty lukewarm on them. Black Cobra seem like they're pretty cool, though.

  6. From what I've heard they kind of sound like that whole revival metal thing - sort of like High on Fire. I'm moderately interested in the show, but am mostly going to meet with this drummer and vocalist for some grind shit.

Bison BC I heard on cd at the store and was unimpressed.

    Never heard Chrissake before.
    Boo, Hiss.

  7. I think I'm going to go see Monotonix on Wednesday. I highly recommend that anyone near Brooklyn do the same. It's a bunch of hairy Israeli guys just fucking shit up. It is real rock and roll.

I could see that, seemed more on a Melvins tip than Sabbath, though. I've heard that they are a duo, they don't sound like it. You should report back on dudes rig if you get a good look at it.

  9. oh look, Faith No More is playing philly!

    I'm there.

Also, seeing Alcest at the end of the month.
And motherfucking EYEHATEGOD in june. with Brutal Truth and Nachtmystium, but who cares about them as long as eyehategod shows up.

  10. I'd be happier about Brutal Truth. EYEHATEGOD are far past their prime.
    Boo, Hiss.
