Saw Boris, Red Sparrowes and Helms Alee last night. Helms Alee was awesome as always, it was neat to see them somewhere where I could actually hear/see them although a little strange to see them in such a large venue. I dug Red Sparrowes, all in all maybe not my thing, but the textures were incredible. Boris really just wasn't my bag. They did some pretty neat stuff, but it was about 1 for 4 song wise. I'm glad I got the chance to catch them but am pretty sure I won't be seeing them again.

I find red sparrowes boring. Helms Alee I like. And Boris'll just release any practice jam session as a record these days.

Just got back from seeing a Japanese band I really like called Fat Prop and took a couple of short videos of the show.
I must say the camera on the iphone 4 is crazy good. The videos look great in 720p. The sounds not too bad either being that it is recorded using the iphone speaker at a live show.
