An old friend invited me to Slipknot tonight in Baltimore, and I graciously declined. I didn't know Coheed was opening for them, and had I not seen them before and been rather disappointed, I might be upset considering how big a fan I've been in the past.
I always go to arena shows. I don't give a shit what you guys think.

Hmm, arena shows. I saw AC/DC back when I was fourteen. That was fucking great.
Slash's band opened for them though. They weren't very good. Homophobic car-upgrading machorock of a non-enjoyable variety. The lead singer kept grabbing his balls too, what's up with that.
Mostly I've stopped going to local shows, you shell out $5 for three bands that aren't very good. Unless I have a friend in one I've stopped checking them out for fun. The exception being one of my friends who is in a really good hip-hop group. Or at least I think they are, I know fuck all about hip hop but I really enjoy their music, yknow

Eh Arena Shows aren't bad if you know how to rock an arena. Given the choice though I think anyone with a brain in their head would prefer smaller club like venues.
