    See if you can see it in disk management.

    Control Panel > admin tools > comp management > disk management.

    lol it was a stupid problem.. i fixed it...I accidentally unplugged the power cord down the line that was eventually giving the drive power because i was annoyed at a case light.

    Then I broke the sata cable and had to pay $11 for a new one.

    yeah the sata cords (even witht he new sata 3.0 drive) are really flaky. i have yet to have one fall out, but ill be damned if they always feel like theyre going to.
