My favorite parts include getting to play exclusively playoff teams from the AL, and the possibility of visiting StL for Ring Day. Yaaaaay!

What the fuck happened to interleague? It's even more stupid now than it has been, and that is hard.

  3. What do you Mets fans think of reuniting Peterson with Zito for 6 years $100 million?

Won't happen, Zito already resides in the Yankee rotation in spirit. They will toss huge dollars and a 5-6 year contact. I hope the Mets are not that stupid.

  5. Yeah, that's a stupid amount of money. I don't really think the Mets need to go crazy with the pitching. If they can get Zito or Matsuzaka for something reasonable, great, but if not, we can get a lower level FA arm and make due with the young arms.

Agree 100%, no reason to toss out 100 million for Zito, as he is prone to bad seasons and his arm is going to go eventually. There are some mid-level quality pitchers available and there is always a chance of a trade for a front liner (Indians need some relievers please, we'll trade you Westbrook)

Also, how is Wright being look at in New York out of curiosity, is he still a hero or is Delgado taking that role?

  7. Reyes is really becoming The Man.

That's interesting. Jeter will start his downslide soon, will NY worship Reyes on the level of Jeter? Only time will tell.

NY hasn't worshipped an athlete as much as it worships Jeter since Joe Namath, so I doubt it.

Westbrook is not a front line pitcher outside of Ohio.
