Anyway, I can't fucking kill Shao Kahn, Motaro is kinda easy since he's just like "Hey guys, can you kill shit with no specials? Just jump around and do Kombos, k?" But Shao Kahn, god, I duck his fireballs and block his charges like a good boy but I still can't beat him

Also, Kabal tornado IMO.

Try jumping over his fireballs into jump-in dial-a-combos. That's what I usually do; works pretty well.

I played through as Reptile last night.

For Motaro, just jump straight up so he walks in on it, land and kombo. It's not 100%, sometimes he'll grab you or do some other bitch move but whatever, the game wasn't made to be fair at all, but the odds of winning with this are pretty good.

Shao Khan took me a while to sort out, you just have to luck out and get his dumb AI. Block low constantly (or, if you're fast enough, stop blocking fireballs to just duck them but block everything else) until he does his uppercut thing and slowly glides back down. Uppercut->run->your best kombo, then back to blocking until he fucks up again or taunts or something.

If you're really good and can see it coming, his shoulder charge leaves him open if you get hit by it and you're deep in the corner. Sometimes he just stands next to you and goes balls out with kicks and hammers that look like they leave him open but don't at all.

Good strategy, heres how to make it easier

Uppercut->run->your best launcher kombo/ or uppercut ->run (then if you get the timing right as soon as he gets up off the ground)->your best launcher kombo/or uppercut-> repeat

You can do it over and over until he is dead if your timing is perfect or until he gets backed all the way into a corner, then instead of a launcher combo do a normal kombo because launcher/uppercut will then have a delay
