I'm getting a weird graphics errors. A grey line from the top left corner, to the bottom right corner. Any clues?
So good news: Single player will be extended, interface redone entirely to be console-friendly (d-pad for inventory shortcuts), lock on for aiming.
Bad news: Instead of 16v16, the multiplayer is now 6v6, but it's been redone from the ground up with the smaller player count in mind.

Is it all the time or randomly?
All the time. I'm pretty clueless with PC, as I been dumbed by Imac for the last few years. I'm playing it on my laptop.

It might be your drivers, but we can count that out real quick if the problem just started recently.
I tried the same game, back when this laptop ran vista. Back then it worked fine. Now I'm running XP. I updated the graphics drivers last night and installed the game. I was just wondering if it was some common graphics error, and if all I had to do was to "disable triple buffer" or something similar.

Sounds like your video card itself.
Well, then the same problem would have been there, while I had Vista installed. Which it wasn't.

Or something on your video card shot itself after you changed.
Using certain types of Samsung RAM will work just fine in an XP machine but will not let you run Vista because the two OS' access the RAM in different ways, and a lot of batches of the laptop Samsung RAM from about a year ago came with defective sectors that XP never touches. Not saying that necessarily has anything to do with your current situation, but don't write off a possibility just because it worked with a different configuration on a different OS.
Do any other games have this problem? Have your tried non-official drivers like Omega? Have you tried changing the detail and resolution settings in the game to see if those affect it? Try turning everything all the way down and also disabling things like write combining in your Windows display settings and see if you still get the issue. It could be an issue with the game, it could be an issue with the drivers (don't know what you have but ATi Catalyst drivers tend to be worthless horseshit), it could be your video card, it could be an effect that isn't processed right, etc.
Yes, troubleshooting is a pain in the ass and often just shooting in the dark until you hit something, but that's about the best I can do for you.
