I was thinking the same thing. I was going to wait until God Hand was $10 before buying it but now I'm tempted to get it sooner.

I haven't played enough games here to vote but it seems like an awesome month. Sam & Max is great; hopefully people here will buy it once the non-Gametap version is out. Bully interests me quite a bit. Dark Messiah looks to be the most appealing given Looking Glass/Ion Storm-inspired design.

  2. Double Agent's the only game on the list I've played, and even then I've only played the first mission, so it gets my vote.
A default vote is faint praise but the game's actually pretty fucking sick. The first mission was reminiscent of Metal Gear Solid's opening sequence in a good way, and the graphics are of course ballshattering. This might be the first Splinter Cell I finish.

I want to give Bully a shot too, when I get the chance - PSU and Godhand also but Ill probably wait on those.

  3. I'd vote KOF 2006, it really is superb. I haven't had a chance to play the new Splinter Cell multiplayer though...I'm sure it's awesome though and should win.

Which of you fucking Wapanese voted for the lame God Hand? The game certainly isn't shit, but its nowhere near as good as, well, any of the other games on the list except for PSU and Tales. Hell, The Warriors is nearly a year old and still beats God Hand in every possible way. And Bully uses a very similar brawling system. If Bully already has a fun brawling system AND tons of other fantastic gameplay, why would you even think of voting for a beat-em-up that does only one thing and doesn't do it very well?

Oh wait, its Clover. And they're Japanese. So it must be the best game this month.

  6. Ding, ding ding. Winner. God Hand is decent, but if you voted for it, move to Japan. Ditto for PSU. Dunno about Tales. But it's probably not as good as SC.

  7. Someone should draw a map for bVork and Joust Williams to pull their heads out of their asses.

  8. How on earth could you vote for either of those games? PSU is utter shit in every conceivable way and God Hand has *decent* fighting wrapped around craptacular graphics.

  9. UMK3.

  10. I voted God Hand!

Certainly not my favorite game, but nothing else from October interests me.
