They sure messed up that 15 second clock the one time they tried and use it.

Gotta give the guys a warning first. Then if they don't get it moving on the ground, the ref can start an official 15 second timer.

Which is not what they did in the first show heh.

Anybody watch the bodog fight show on tv last night? I started watching it, seemed a bit gimmicky, then I was like "I'd rather goto sleep then watch this".

I was going to watch the bodog thing. Then I remembered how it seemed like b.s. last time I saw something of it so I didn't bother. Is the showtime thing going to be a recurring show?

I didn't really enjoy the Bodog thing. Kinda boring.

One thing made me laugh, however. They were doing the pre-fight interviews and one guy was like, "Nothing he can do will suprise me, unless he grabs my ass or something."

Just caught the Bodog thing on Ion last night (what the hell is this channel and when did I start getting it?). Reallllly weak production. The announcers were like what you'd hear with me and some friends hanging around watching MMA. "Oooh, that hurts. Right in da gut. *Chuckles*"

I only saw two fights, but they were pretty boring. Both went to decisions. None of the fighters showed impressive skills or made exciting fights. The ropes around the ring were too loose, and any time the fight got near the ropes it had to be reset 'cause the guys just fell through 'em.

And was that Bif Naked with the intro/outro segments?

Yeah, those announcers were a blast. During one of the fights they were talking about how the "packed house" was really making some noise, but I think there were only 11 people sitting around the ring and I think two of them maybe clapped at one point. The elimination bouts on The Ultimate Fighter have bigger, louder crowds around the ring.

PRIDE 33 is this weekend. Nakamura is out due to injury but Kharitonov is signed on now which is even better.

I think if Silva has had proper time to train and gets back some of what he used to have he'll punch through Henderson, but I don't know if he has it in him anymore. I'll be surprised if this fight doesn't go to a decision.

Shogun/Overeem should be ok until Alistair gasses and gets stomped on.

those are the two fights i wanted to see... i thought pride was usually on sundays, but i guess since this one is in america they are having it on saturday.. what a bummer, i'll be out of town.
