Yeah, it is a lot of weight and it sounds unlikely, but he's a giant compared to everyone he's fought. he even made Rampage look small and Rampage is already a giant 205er. He fights at at least 220. He's not a legitimate 205er.

Have you ever seen Jon Fitch fight before gamevet? That guy's chin is usually granite.
In most interviews he talks about how he basically doesn't cut weight.
This brings up an interesting point for the future.
Personally I think Overeem is too big and too powerful/accurate a striker for JDS to beat. I'm looking at all these other strikers in the heavy weight division and thinking the same thing. So except for a freak punch, which could happen any given fight to be fair, I just don't see a striker beating him. That being said, if Brock couldn't take him down how is someone smaller than Brock going to? Its early to say this, but I think Overeem is the moster heavyweight who can hold the belt we've all be waiting for.
Time will tell.
